Northport, NY – April 2, 2014 – After they leave the battlefields and duty stations, many veterans return from war to find they are still fighting - against post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), traumatic brain injury (TBI), depression, overmedication and even poverty.

Sadly, that battle back home leads 22 veterans a day to take their ownl lives, Staying true to their mission to honor and enable wounded warriors and veterans in need from post 9/11 wars, Cow Harbor Warriors aims to call attention to this tragedy in the 22 weeks leading up to its second Warrior Weekend, September 5-7, 2014. The organization will be holding a news conference to outline its plans for a series of events that will help Americans understand the scope of the problem and what they can do to help.
