HMS uses state-of-the-art monoplace hyperbaric chambers made of metal and acrylic. Unlike soft or mild chambers, these deliver 100% oxygen and can reach higher pressures, allowing more efficient and effective treatment for a wider range of conditions.

HMS offers HBOT for a wide range of medical conditions. The FDA currently recognizes 14 on-label conditions, typically covered by insurance. HMS also treats other conditions for which research shows efficacy or those consistent with HBOT's mechanisms of action.

Treatment protocols are highly individualized. Patients may require anywhere from 10-40+ sessions, though this can vary depending on the condition and patient response. HBOT is cumulative in effect, so sessions are typically scheduled 4–5 days a week.

Yes, we accept most major insurances. HBOT is generally covered by insurance for the 14 FDA-approved (on-label) conditions. Non-covered (off-label) conditions are less likely to be covered. Regardless, insurance often covers the consultation visit. HMS offers payment plans and financial assistance for off-label treatments and endeavors to accommodate eligible candidates as much as possible.
