Hyperbaric Medical Solutions Opens New HBOT Site in Lake Success, NY
Hyperbaric Medical Solutions (HMS) is excited to announce its expansion to Lake Success, NY - June 2021. Located within ProHealth Plaza at 4 Ohio Drive, this location will expand HMS’ network of sites to western Nassau County at the Queens border. This new location is the fifth for HMS, joining its other NY-based sites in Manhattan and Woodbury, along with Fort Lauderdale, FL, and Randolph, MA.
Throughout the ten years HMS has been in business, it has set out to expand access to and reduce the barriers for patients to receive HBOT. Its mission is to create patient success through personalized, innovative, compassionate care that enhances the quality of life and well-being of its patients. Patients are receiving HBOT for a range of conditions from healing wounds incurred during radiation therapy to those seeking to increase general wellness and achieve longevity. The start of HBOT is with a consultation, which is generally covered by insurances for all types of patients. The Lake Success site is an ideal location for HMS to extend its mission to an underserved market in western Nassau and Queens. The site will be led by Board Certified hyperbaric physician and expert Alan Katz, MD. In advance of the site's opening, Dr. Katz states: “We are very excited to bring our distinct personalized brand of outpatient hyperbaric care to Lake Success. There is no reason for otherwise healthy, mobile patients to enter costly hospital settings for outpatient services such as HBOT for conditions such as a failed flap, delayed radiation injury, sudden hearing loss and other conditions where HBOT is effective.”
