Randy Parr, RPA

PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT

Randy has been a Physician Assistant for 28 years after graduating from Stony Brook University‘s Physician Assistant program. She went on to be a professor in that same program where, among other things, she taught alternative medicine lectures for the Oncology section. As a former Marine, Randy is a natural leader. She was the first Physician Assistant in New York to be granted unassisted vaginal delivery privileges and the first physician assistant intensivist at Stony Brook University Hospital, where she spent ten years in the Cardio-thoracic ICU. Randy is passionate, thorough, and caring and has taken a pivotal lead in the Veterans Program at HMS, leading outreach to the veteran community about the benefits of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy.
